01 / Jamie Lynn Services / Operational Support

You have an operational problem. We can help fix it.

Jamie Lynn Services brings enterprise operations experience and Lean Six Sigma methodology into organizations that need to understand, repair, improve, document, implement, or control how work gets done.

Start with the work as it actually happens. Leave with a clearer operation, a usable record, and controls people can maintain.

THE OPERATING PATH UNDERSTAND → MAP → ANALYZE → IMPROVE → DOCUMENT → IMPLEMENT → CONTROL

02 Understand the operation

See what really happens before you try to change it.

Documentation may describe the intended system. Observation, interviews, and evidence show the operating system people are actually using.

JLS begins with the work itself: the people, decisions, systems, handoffs, interruptions, workarounds, records, and constraints that shape the result.

The engagement can include interviews, documentation and evidence review, process observation, and onsite work where physical context materially improves the answer.

Lean Six Sigma is the methodology underneath the work. The goal is not to decorate a process map. The goal is to understand the operation well enough to improve it responsibly.

03 Map the work

Make the handoffs, responsibility, and constraints visible.

The right map depends on the work. JLS can document one bounded workflow, connect functions across a handoff, or model complex process and responsibility relationships where authority and dependencies branch.

04 Find the gaps and eliminate waste

A better operation starts with a clear diagnosis.

The Compliance Gap Audit is a Lean Six Sigma diagnostic engagement for compliance exposure, operational gaps, waste, variation, defects, training weaknesses, control failures, and relevant risks. It produces findings and a prioritized remediation roadmap. Implementation is a separate engagement.

05 Operational effectiveness

Find the point where the operation loses capacity.

For a performance-focused review, the Operational Effectiveness Audit begins with how work moves and where throughput, quality, or control is being compromised.

06 Build the operating system

Put normal work, authority, exceptions, and controls on the record.

The Core Operations Manual is one service with two delivery models. Both address the same fundamental need: a connected operating record that people can use, review, transfer, and improve.

  • Observe the as-is. Document the work as it happens.
  • Verify the record. Reconcile it against actual operations.
  • Design the to-be. Identify waste, controls, thresholds, and dependencies.
  • Transfer the discipline. Deliver a maintained operating reference.

Core Operations Manual Expanded / $25,000. A broader done-for-you scope for larger or more complex organizations.

07 Implement the changes

Move from findings to a better operation.

Clients may implement findings themselves. When JLS needs to execute changes and the work requires calendar priority, the implementation retainer creates a defined path forward.

A Compliance Gap Audit can lead into a separate implementation engagement:

Audit → gaps → recommendations → implementation → controlled operation.

// CALENDAR PRIORITY

Starting at $30,000 implementation retainer.

For clients who want JLS to execute the agreed changes after diagnosis and recommendations.

08 Train your people

Leave capability behind, not just a deliverable.

Clients may designate a liaison to work alongside JLS and learn the discipline behind the engagement. That person can help maintain process observation, maps, deep dives, Five Whys, waste identification, analysis, and operating documentation afterward.

Onsite training is the stronger featured offering because the work is easier to learn in the context where it occurs. Virtual or Zoom support may be available when it fits the engagement.

09 Keep it working

Make sure the written system still reflects the work.

Ongoing support can include operational documentation, periodic observation and review, controlled updates, verification, audit readiness, and documented evidence that the operating record remains current.

ONGOING OPERATIONAL DOCUMENTATION / STARTING AT $1,500 / MONTH
Explore ongoing support
  • Less waste and better productivity through clearer work and fewer avoidable loops.
  • Stronger quality, team experience, audit readiness, and reduced compliance exposure.
  • Lower future documentation and audit burden through controlled updates and evidence.
  • Internal capability that remains after JLS leaves.

Outcomes depend on the organization, scope, evidence, leadership decisions, implementation, and ongoing maintenance. JLS does not promise a particular ROI percentage or business result.

10 Custom operational problem solving

Have an operational problem that does not fit a package? Bring it to us.

JLS accepts a-la-carte engagements involving process failure, productivity, quality, waste, compliance, documentation, scaling, controls, training, handoffs, and unusual operational problems.

11 Onsite work

Sometimes the operation has to be seen in place.

Onsite work is available when physical observation materially improves the engagement. Client-requested travel is paid by the client. When a client requires JLS to travel, the client also plants two trees; JLS is happy to participate when practical.

Start with the piece of the operation that needs attention.

The operation is already telling you where it hurts. Let's read it.

Bring the problem, the evidence, or the process nobody can quite explain.
