In short. JLS handles information for the service, account, support, security, communication, administration, and legal purposes that apply to the relationship. The actual information path depends on the product, deployment, connected service, and instructions in effect.

01. Scope and relationship

This Privacy Policy applies to Jamie Lynn Services websites, pages, forms, accounts, products, services, software, hardware, workstations, documentation, and customer engagements that link to or incorporate this Policy. A particular product, service, written agreement, configuration, or deployment may establish additional information-handling terms.

JLS is responsible for its own handling of information. JLS does not control or accept responsibility for the independent privacy, security, tracking, retention, disclosure, or other practices of third parties. Their own notices and terms apply to their systems and conduct.

02. Information collected or received

Depending on the page, product, service, or engagement, JLS may collect or receive a name, email address, organization, contact details, account information, product interest, service request, configuration, form submission, support message, payment or transaction record, and other information that a person deliberately provides.

JLS may also receive information needed to maintain account state, process a request, provide a product, answer a support question, administer an engagement, investigate misuse, protect systems, resolve disputes, or comply with a legal obligation. The fields and records that apply are determined by the actual workflow and configuration.

03. Before and after authentication

Before authentication, JLS may track behavior at the hardware or device-profile level. That activity is not, before authentication, tied by JLS to a specifically identified person. Technical activity may include page requests, navigation, interaction, error, browser, device, session, and consent information where applicable.

After a user authenticates, applicable activity may be associated with the authenticated account or person. JLS uses that relationship to maintain continuity, administer requested services, protect accounts, understand service use, support the user, and apply the choices and permissions that govern the account.

Cookie and storage choices affect the technologies and optional behavior used on a particular page. Essential storage may remain necessary for security, navigation, consent state, and requested functionality. A user may review available choices through the site’s cookie controls.

04. Authentication and account continuity

The main JLS site supports authentication through identity providers, including Google, Microsoft, and Amazon. The provider authenticates the user under its own terms. JLS receives and handles the account information made available through the authentication flow and uses it to establish or continue the JLS account relationship.

Authentication may create or validate account state, session state, continuity counters, preferences, permissions, and records associated with the requested service. JLS may use the information necessary to prevent misuse, recover an account, respond to a request, and maintain the user’s intended path through the site.

The identity provider remains responsible for its own authentication process, data practices, security, retention, and disclosure. A user who chooses an identity provider should review that provider’s privacy information and account settings.

05. Submitted content and service information

Users and customers may submit text, files, images, documents, research, records, instructions, configuration information, or other content to a JLS page, product, service, account, extension, workstation, or connected system. JLS handles that content as needed to provide the requested function, configure or support the service, maintain security, preserve authorized continuity, investigate an issue, or meet applicable contractual and legal requirements.

Customers remain responsible for deciding what information to submit, which people may access it, which connected services may receive it, and which notices, permissions, safeguards, and retention rules apply to their use. A JLS product, document, consultation, or service does not create HIPAA or ISO compliance by itself. JLS may provide tools and workflows that support a customer’s compliance program; the customer remains responsible for its own policies, approvals, configuration, training, security, records, and conduct.

06. Products, AI, extensions, and workstations

JLS offers or may offer chatbots, browser extensions, operational services, hardware, workstations, local or dedicated computing environments, documentation, and related support. Information handling varies by the product and by the installation, connected providers, storage, permissions, and instructions selected for that product.

CobyAI Stars operates on its own subdomain and uses API-key AI. It is not represented as secure or private. Information sent to an AI provider, including pictures, may not have the same security or privacy protections at every point of travel. AI-provider terms, privacy practices, processing, retention, and security controls apply to that provider’s portion of the interaction.

JLS may favor deterministic software and may use deterministic checks in customized packages after the parties agree that the installation is complete. Those checks do not make every product or output perfectly accurate. Consensus outputs require human review, and users remain responsible for decisions made from AI-assisted or automated results.

07. CobyAI Stars and minors

Minors are not authorized to independently use general JLS website functions. General website use by a minor must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian.

The separately operated CobyAI Stars application or dashboard may be used by an authorized minor when a parent or legal guardian has purchased or activated the child-specific or family product and authorized the child’s use. The parent or legal guardian expressly consents on behalf of the child to tracking and information processing applicable to that authorized CobyAI Stars application or dashboard, including processing used for authentication, security, continuity, administration, and parental oversight.

The parent or legal guardian assumes responsibility for the authorized minor’s use to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Account privacy, family controls, group permissions, image settings, and administrative visibility depend on the product configuration and the choices made by the authorized account holder.

08. How JLS uses information

JLS may use information to provide, configure, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, support, and administer a requested product or service; manage accounts and communications; follow authorized instructions; measure and improve the experience; maintain continuity; investigate misuse; protect systems and people; process or reconcile transactions; resolve disputes; and meet legal obligations.

JLS may use technical and behavioral records to understand whether pages, forms, workflows, integrations, and products function as intended and to identify friction or errors. JLS does not treat a product description as proof that every possible field, integration, storage method, or retention period is active for every customer. The applicable agreement, configuration, and actual deployment control.

09. JLS relationships and connected services

Jamie Lynn Services works in partnership with sister companies Engineered Launch and Coby & Bam. JLS also has partner and affiliate relationships. Examples may include MailerLite, MailerSend, JotForm, Make, and Hostinger.

A user who follows a partner or affiliate link, uses a partner service, authorizes an integration, or otherwise interacts with a third-party provider establishes a separate relationship with that provider. The provider’s own terms and privacy practices apply to the provider’s conduct. JLS does not control or accept responsibility for the independent privacy, tracking, security, retention, or disclosure practices of those partners or third parties.

10. Payments and banking

The consultation fee may be processed through PayPal using the site’s embedded or modal payment experience. A customer may remain visually on the JLS website while PayPal processes the transaction. PayPal’s own privacy, tracking, security, and processing practices apply to PayPal’s portion of the transaction, and customers should review PayPal’s applicable privacy information.

After a consultation payment, additional banking may occur through ACH or bank-to-bank methods. JLS may use Mercury, Stripe, PayPal, another applicable ACH or payment provider, or direct bank-to-bank instructions according to the transaction and customer preference. A customer choosing direct bank-to-bank handling may conduct that payment outside JLS website payment-page tracking. The relevant banks and financial institutions remain responsible for their own privacy and security practices.

JLS may retain transaction and accounting records necessary for accounting, tax, contractual, fraud-prevention, dispute, or legal purposes. JLS does not need to store full payment credentials that remain with the payment processor or financial institution.

11. Disclosure and third-party responsibility

JLS may disclose information when necessary to provide a requested product or service, operate or secure an account, support an engagement, process a transaction, carry out an authorized instruction, work with a contractor or proxy, respond to a lawful request, prevent fraud or misuse, protect rights and safety, or satisfy a legal obligation.

JLS may hire contractors to write, publish, act as a proxy, or act under documented power of attorney when the work requires it. JLS selects contractors in good faith and limits access according to the work and the applicable instructions. Contractors and connected providers may have their own obligations and practices.

JLS does not control, warrant, report, or accept responsibility for the independent privacy, security, tracking, retention, disclosure, or other practices of PayPal, identity providers, affiliate partners, connected services, banks, hosting providers, AI providers, or other third parties. Where a user voluntarily chooses a third-party service, the user is responsible for reviewing and maintaining that separate relationship under the third party’s terms and privacy policy.

12. Security, retention, and disposal

JLS uses reasonable administrative, technical, and operational measures appropriate to the service and its configuration. No online service, device, network, payment processor, identity provider, hosting provider, or connected AI provider can promise that information will never be exposed, lost, intercepted, unavailable, or accessed without authorization.

JLS retains information as reasonably necessary for the stated service purpose, the customer relationship, account and security administration, continuity, dispute resolution, technical processes, accounting, or a legal obligation. Actual retention depends on the product, configuration, storage system, instructions, and applicable law. When information is no longer required for an applicable purpose, JLS may delete, de-identify, archive, or otherwise dispose of it according to the system and obligations involved.

13. Choices, requests, and private operator contact

Users may make available cookie choices, account choices, connected-service choices, and other privacy requests through the controls and routes provided by the applicable page or product. JLS may ask for reasonable information to identify the relevant account or relationship and protect against an unauthorized request.

JLS does not publicly expose its private mailing address, email address, telephone number, or other private operator contact information to unauthenticated visitors. The authenticated account context is required to view the private mailing address.

The effective date identifies the version currently published at this route. Material changes may also be presented through an applicable account, product, or page.
